Why is amalgam
dangerous ?
Most conventional silver amalgams consist of a 1:1 mixture of
metallic mercury and alloy powder consisting of silver (about 70%
by weight), tin (about 25%), and smaller amounts of copper (1-6%)
and zinc (0-2%). The copper amalgam contained 60-70% mercury and
30-40% copper, mostly unsed in paediatric dentistry. (IPCS (International Programme on Chemical Safety)

Organization, 1991, Page 151)
Symptoms of amalgam

the nourisson, prematurity, Neuro-psychic delays and all
the list of symptoms above,
- etc,
How is mercury absorbed
?
The general population is primarily exposed to mercury through
the diet and dental amalgam. Several studies have correlated the
number of dental amalgam fillings or amalgam surfaces with the
mercury content in tissues from humat autopsy, as well as in
sample of blood, urine, and plasma.( IPCS

During all work performed on amalgam with traditional means,
(drilling, polishing) an important amount of highly toxic mercury
vapour is inhalated by the patient and the dentist.
